Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004)
Love, laughter, jealousy, and one gloriously unpredictable Bridget Jones! Renée Zellweger returns as the charmingly awkward London singleton in the hilarious sequel to Bridget Jones's Diary, alongside Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.
Movie Synopsis
At last, Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) has the boyfriend of her dreams: handsome, dependable human-rights lawyer Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). But happily ever after turns out to be a little more complicated than she imagined. Bridget's insecurities grow when Mark's sophisticated colleague Rebecca (Jacinda Barrett) seems suspiciously perfect, and Bridget's habit of jumping to conclusions threatens to derail her new romance.
Meanwhile, the irresistible but unreliable Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) reappears in Bridget's life, offering fresh temptations and fresh trouble. From disastrous social occasions and romantic misunderstandings in London to an eventful trip to Thailand, Bridget discovers that love is rarely neat, sensible, or predictable. Full of witty mishaps and big-hearted moments, this romantic comedy follows Bridget as she learns what it really takes to trust herself and the people she loves.
