After her father also passes away, Ella is forced into a life of household chores and cruelty, earning the nickname Cinderella. Even through hardship, she strives to honor her mother's advice: have courage and be kind.
A chance encounter in the forest introduces Ella to a charming young man named Kit, whom she does not realize is the prince. When a royal ball is announced, Ella hopes to attend, but her stepfamily stands in her way. With a little help from her Fairy Godmother, she experiences an unforgettable magical evening at the palace.
