Beverly Hills Cop – Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack is the hit soundtrack to the 1984 Eddie Murphy action-comedy. A lively snapshot of mid-1980s pop, rock, and electronic music, the album is especially celebrated for Harold Faltermeyer's instrumental hit “Axel F,” alongside popular songs such as Glenn Frey's “The Heat Is On” and Patti LaBelle's “New Attitude.” An essential soundtrack for collectors of 1980s movie music.
