Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) – Blu-ray – Used
Ancient Greek legends collide with a modern-day adventure! Logan Lerman returns as Percy Jackson in this exciting fantasy sequel based on the second book in Rick Riordan's bestselling Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. Packed with mythological monsters, magical artifacts, spectacular action and a story about friendship and family, Sea of Monsters takes Percy's journey far beyond Camp Half-Blood.
Detailed Movie Synopsis
Life at Camp Half-Blood, the sanctuary for children of Greek gods, has become increasingly complicated for Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman). Although he once saved Olympus, Percy now struggles with self-doubt and fierce competition from fellow camper Clarisse La Rue (Leven Rambin). His world is turned upside down when Tyson (Douglas Smith), a gentle Cyclops, arrives and reveals that he is Percy's half-brother.
When the magical barrier surrounding Camp Half-Blood begins to collapse, deadly monsters threaten everyone inside. The camp's only hope lies in the legendary Golden Fleece, an artifact with the power to restore its defenses. Unfortunately, the Fleece is hidden on a distant island deep within the treacherous Sea of Monsters, known to ordinary people as the Bermuda Triangle.
Determined to save their home, Percy joins Annabeth Chase (Alexandra Daddario), Grover Underwood (Brandon T. Jackson) and Tyson on a daring quest across dangerous waters. Along the way, the friends encounter fantastical creatures, unexpected allies and seemingly impossible obstacles. Meanwhile, Luke Castellan (Jake Abel) is pursuing his own sinister plan involving the powerful Titan Kronos.
As the fate of Camp Half-Blood hangs in the balance, Percy must learn to trust his friends, accept his unusual family and discover that true heroism comes from courage and loyalty rather than fame or prophecy.
