Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010) — The Final Adventure Begins
The wizarding world stands on the brink of darkness in this suspenseful seventh Harry Potter film, adapted from J. K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Directed by David Yates, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 follows Harry, Ron and Hermione on a perilous quest beyond Hogwarts as Lord Voldemort tightens his grip on the magical world.
Detailed Story Synopsis
With Albus Dumbledore gone and the Ministry of Magic falling under Voldemort's influence, Harry Potter can no longer rely on the safety of Hogwarts. Harry, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley set out to locate and destroy the remaining Horcruxes—dark magical objects that conceal pieces of Voldemort's soul and hold the key to defeating him.
Forced into hiding, the three friends travel across Britain, following clues left behind by Dumbledore while evading Death Eaters and suspicious strangers. The relentless danger and the corrupting influence of a Horcrux test their trust in one another. Along the way they learn of the legendary Deathly Hallows, three mysterious objects whose powers may alter the struggle against Voldemort.
Blending action, mystery and emotional drama, this first half of the two-part finale finds Harry and his friends confronting sacrifice, uncertainty and a world where nowhere feels safe.
