Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) – DVD – Used
Return to the world of Greek mythology for an exciting adventure filled with legendary creatures, dangerous quests and heroic friendships! Based on the bestselling second novel in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters reunites the young demigod hero and his friends for a high-stakes journey beyond the boundaries of Camp Half-Blood.
Detailed Movie Synopsis
After discovering that he is the son of Poseidon, Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) has settled into life at Camp Half-Blood, a sanctuary for the children of Greek gods. But Percy's confidence is shaken when a powerful new arrival, Clarisse La Rue (Leven Rambin), challenges his standing among the campers. At the same time, he discovers that he has a Cyclops half-brother named Tyson (Douglas Smith), whose arrival changes everything Percy thought he knew about his family.
When the magical barrier protecting Camp Half-Blood begins to fail, terrifying monsters threaten the demigods inside. The only hope of saving the camp is the legendary Golden Fleece, a powerful artifact hidden deep within the dangerous Sea of Monsters—an enchanted region known to mortals as the Bermuda Triangle.
Joined by his loyal friends Annabeth Chase (Alexandra Daddario) and Grover Underwood (Brandon T. Jackson), along with Tyson, Percy sets out on a perilous voyage. Their journey brings encounters with mythological beasts, treacherous waters and unexpected enemies, including Luke Castellan (Jake Abel), whose plans could unleash an ancient evil upon the world. Percy must learn that heroism is about more than prophecy or parentage—it takes trust, courage and loyalty to protect the people who matter most.
