Discover the film that began Disney's feature-animation legacy! Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a timeless musical fantasy about kindness, courage, friendship, and the power of true love. With expressive hand-drawn animation, unforgettable characters, and beloved songs, this pioneering Disney classic has enchanted generations of families.
Detailed Story Synopsis
Snow White is a gentle princess whose beauty and kindness inspire jealousy in her vain stepmother, the Evil Queen. When the Queen's Magic Mirror declares Snow White the fairest of them all, the Queen orders a huntsman to take the princess into the forest. Unable to harm her, he urges Snow White to flee.
Lost among the trees, Snow White befriends woodland animals who guide her to a small cottage belonging to seven diamond-mining dwarfs: Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. Though startled by their unexpected visitor, the dwarfs gradually welcome her into their home, and she brings warmth and music to their lives.
But the Evil Queen learns that Snow White is still alive. Disguising herself as an old peddler woman, she prepares a poisoned apple and sets out to destroy her rival. The dwarfs race to protect their new friend, and a familiar fairy-tale promise of love and hope brings this memorable adventure to its moving conclusion.
Featuring the classic songs “Heigh-Ho,” “Whistle While You Work,” and “Someday My Prince Will Come,” this landmark film blends fantasy, suspense, humor, and heart.
