About the Soundtrack
Featuring the iconic “Main Title,” the powerful “Promentory,” the atmospheric “The Kiss,” and the moving “Cora,” this score is a favorite among film-music collectors. The first nine tracks feature Trevor Jones's music, followed by six selections composed by Randy Edelman; Clannad's evocative vocal contribution concludes the disc. This is the original 16-track soundtrack associated with the 1992 film starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stowe and Russell Means, not a newly recorded orchestral tribute.
