Pastpresent is a greatest-hits collection by acclaimed Irish group Clannad, bringing together highlights from their 1980s recordings. The album blends traditional Celtic influences, haunting Gaelic vocals, atmospheric arrangements and accessible folk-pop, including Theme from Harry's Game, Robin (The Hooded Man) and the duet In a Lifetime with Bono.
Released in 1989, the compilation also features the then-new recordings The Hunter and World of Difference. A great introduction to Clannad's distinctive sound.
